Commercial real estate industry leaders direct IDS Real Estate Group. Consistent team staffing and commitment over project life cycles set IDS apart from other national real estate service firms challenged by rapid employee turnover, constant management restructuring, and frequent ownership changes. IDS leadership and team stability are two of its greatest strengths. IDS senior management has been with the firm an average of over 15 years.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS

David G. Mgrublian

Chief Executive Officer

Joining the firm in 1992, Mr. Mgrublian oversees IDS Investment Management and Landlord Services divisions. He directs all institutional ventures - their acquisitions, capital structures, development plans, asset management, and disposition. He co-chairs the IDS Investment Committee and chairs the firm’s Institutional Asset Management Committee. Under his leadership, IDS institutional asset performance has materially exceeded its applicable indices each year for over two decades. Previously, Mr. Mgrublian was a partner with Trammell Crow Company. He received his M.B.A from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science from Claremont McKenna College. From 2014 to 2024, he served as chair of the Claremont McKenna College Board of Trustees. He is a former board chair of The Claremont Colleges, Westridge School in Pasadena, and St. Mark’s School in Altadena. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute's Urban Development/Mixed-Use Green Product Council and the Policy Advisory Board of UC Berkeley’s Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics. In addition, his family has endowed the Mgrublian Center for Human Rights at Claremont McKenna College.

Murad Siam

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to co-founding IDS in 1986, Mr. Siam was ranked as CBRE’s top real estate manager nationwide for three consecutive years. As CEO of IDS, Mr. Siam oversees its Landlord Services and Tenant Services divisions. Mr. Siam also directs investments and co-investments, evaluates acquisitions, approves and monitors asset management and development plans and develops and implements strategic initiatives.
A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Mr. Siam is a licensed California real estate broker and an active member of the American Industrial Real Estate Association, (AIR), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). An active member of his community, Mr. Siam is the Founder and Chairperson of the Valley Sports Foundation, which serves over 1,000 high school age athletes annually in the Greater San Fernando Valley, an Advisory Board Member of UMMA Community Clinic South Los Angeles, and a Board Member of American Near East Refugee Aid.
