Since the early 1990’s, IDS senior executives have provided receivership services for life insurance companies, banks, and other financial institutions. The receivership team works diligently and efficiently with the courts, creditors and attorneys to preserve value and through its affiliates, to build and enhance value.
Our receivership services include ensuring that asset operations are stabilized and appropriate controls are in place. The receiver, directly or through its affiliates:
- Stabilizes the asset (cash controls, insurance, tenant outreach and retention)
- Establishes property management systems
- Formulates and implements a strategic plan and budget
- Assumes development and construction management responsibilities
- Implements the marketing, leasing and disposition strategies
